Vodafone Dublin City Triathlon

Dear Piranha Member

I am very honoured to be given the responsibility of Race Director again for the Vodafone Dublin City Triathlon. This year we will have the extra pressure of being the national championship Olympic distance race. I would therefore like to make people aware of their responsibilities to Piranha Tri as this is the major fund raiser which keeps this great club going.

Every member must do their utmost to be available on the weekend of 24th & 25th  August.

We need a huge team of stewards on the day to help. We have many experienced members who will be there on the day so if you are new to the sport you will not be left on your own and you will be needed.

Normally Piranha members are not allowed to race in DCT but in light of the fact that this is the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS we will be allowing some members to race.

  We have not yet decided on the number to be allowed to race. This will be decided when all requests have been received  There are a number of restrictions
1. You must be a full member since Jan 2012

2. You must have helped at DCT  2011 or 2012

3. You must be available to help on Saturday 24th before the race

Requests will be taken until the 16th March  at which time a  selection or draw will take place depending on the number of requests
