Training Coordinator Job Spec

We are now seeking applicants for the following: 

Training Coordinator Piranha Triathlon Club

Piranha Triathlon Club is currently seeking a Training Coordinator to develop yearly training plans for all levels within the club for the 2013/2014 Season beginning in  October 2013.

The plans will be based around the club’s goals and initiatives, incorporating existing club training sessions as much as possible. The club’s training committee will work with the successful candidate to establish the club’s goals and expectations.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Create annual periodization plan for each level within the club incorporating club goals and initiatives. (Beginner, Intermediate1, Intermediate2, Advanced, Ironman)
• Maintain flexibility to allow for changes to plan based on feedback from training committee at the end of each block.
• Develop and deliver a training presentation around each periodization block and deliver to piranha members. Dates and location to be confirmed with the club’s training committee. Each seminar should outline the objectives for upcoming block and discuss in detail the requirements. Incorporate feedback/questions from club members into discussion.

Performance:

Job performance is evaluated according to the policy provisions adopted by the Piranha Committee. Term:1 year, subject to 6 month probationary period. During the probationary period this contract may be terminated without notice by the Piranha Club Committee.

Payment: Negotiable. Payment will be split as follows: 25% in advance for the initial plans and then 25% for seminars at end of December, 25% at end of March and 25% at end June. Each independent contractor shall be responsible for his/her own tax affairs.
