NS Strategy – Booking form for BIG Dates

its time to reserve your space for the three BIG Dates on the NS Strategy Calendar

• 21 June: Club Championships – Dinner and Party at Odessa
• 25/26 July: Away weekend in Kinsale and Barbecue
• 12/13 Sept: Away weekend in Belmullet and Dinner

Booking Form

First, instructions on the booking form – details of each event then follow.    The booking for  can be accessed here: BIG Dates Booking Form

Some Instructions and tips:

• Light Blue columns have drop-down values – so you cannot apply free text
• Please indicate how many guests (if any) you would like to bring to the Club Championship dinner and party.  All partners of Piranha Members will be automatically entitled to join us.   As there are limited places for dinner,  additional guests may be wait-listed.    The earlier we have an indication of numbers the better equipped we will be to accommodate numbers.
• For the away weekends,  please indicate whether you have a preference for a Twin or Double Room.   Also indicate if you will have a Guest (you don’t have to set-out the name), or if there is another Piranha with whom you would like to share a room (Behave!!).
• Please add any relevant comments (dietary requirements for example!), or contact one of Bernard, Petrina Mulroe or Emer Tighe.
   

June 21st, Club Championship Dinner and Party

The Club Championship Dinner and Party will be held at 8.30pm at Odessa, 14 Dame Court (opposite the Stag’s Head).     Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Piranha Committee,  dinner will be fixed at €20.00 per person.  We will retire upstairs to Odessa Club after the dinner.    Piranha members who were not able to join us for dinner will be able to come to Odessa Club.  Emer Tighe (emertighe@gmail.com) will be taking the lead in the organisation of this event.

Please note that although the race is in Dunmore East, Co. Waterford the dinner and party are back in Dublin.  The 8.30pm starts give all 60+ Piranha members time to get back from Waterford to Dublin for dinner and the party.

25/26 July, King of the Hill, Kinsale

There are 20 double rooms booked in the centre of Kinsale, each costing €140 per person sharing for 2 nights B&B.  The hotels are Blue Haven and Actons Hotel.   In prior years Blue Haven has acted as the HQ for the King of the Hill race.  Both hotels can offer secure storage for bikes.   

A barbecue has been booked for 7.30pm on the evening of Saturday 26th for €25 per head in Hamlets of Kinsale, a bar adjacent to the Blue Haven hotel.  Bernard Hanratty (details at the end of the email) will be taking the lead in the organisation of this event).

12/13 September, Blacksod, Belmullet

There are 10 double rooms booked in The Talbot Hotel in the centre of Belmullet, each costing €140 per per sharing for 2 nights B&B plus an evening meal on Saturday 13th.  Again this hotel has secure storage for bikes.  Petrina Mulroe (petrinamulroe@gmail.com) will be taking the lead in the organisation of this event.

We ask members to declare their race intentions for the season,  and 64 members have done so on the spreadsheet to which there is a link below.   If you have not had the opportunity to complete the form, we’d be delighted if you would.  If you have completed the form but your race plans have changed since,   we’d be delighted if you could make the updates against your name.
