Age Group Selection

Each year, Triathlon Ireland offers all Irish athletes a chance to compete at international level in triathlon and duathlon. If you make the team, you can be proud to represent Ireland and enjoy the experience of racing at an International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Championship or European Triathlon Union (ETU) European Championship.

Last year, a record number of age group athletes represented Ireland across the globe in the European and World Championships.  The most memorable was the European Championships held in Athlone where a number of our athletes won medals in their age groups.

So with the 2011 European and Word Championships around the corner, now is the time to start thinking if you’d like to join the Irish team.  With the European Champs being held in Limerick, it’s a great opportunity to race the Europeans without having to travel abroad…
