A key part of the AGM is to recognise some of the outstanding Piranha achievements throughout the season
These awards fall into the following 3 categories
Decided by race season
- Club male champ – 1st male Piranha home in club champ race (Athy Sprint) – Anthony Mulholland
- Club female champ – 1st female Piranha home in club champ race (Athy Sprint) – Sinead Hartnett
- Highest Rank NS points – Male Piranha with highest NS point – Will be confirmed after final NS points published
- Highest Rank NS points – Female Piranha with highest NS point – Will be confirmed after final NS points published
Decided by member nominations/voting – please send your initial nominations to marketing@piranhatri.com
How it works
Step 1: A short list will be compiled based on emails sent to marketing@piranhatri.com
Step 2: Open vote held on short list to determine winners (published as survey monkey vote on 21st Sept with deadline of 25th Sept)
Step 3: Winners announced/receive prizes in AGM on 10th Oct
- Best newcomer (male)
- Best newcomer (female)
- Most improved (male)
- Most improved (female)
- Best race report
- Club Everest award – awarded to reflect an outstanding achievement by a Piranha – e.g. Last years winner was Micheal Keogh – who punctured in a half ironman and ran 20km with his bike to t2 and then finished the run on top of this.
Awards determined by committee only – i.e. no need for nominations!
- Club spirit award – awarded to an individual Piranha whose input to the club is seen as above and beyond the call of duty
