    ** Update **

With the Irishtown track still out of commission – Maria/Anthony will be moving the Thursday nights session to a run session out of WW following the Sat morning swim – runners to be ready for 9:40

This will be a temporary arrangement that will revert to Thurs track sessions once Irishtown is operational once more.

    Regards

Ah now I would not say that Alan …

Surely the time to beat is the current club record of 2.44 if I am not mistaken? But then again, I might be bias? 😉

Nah ….. lads know they have no hope of that … well aside from Rory himself ….

Good luck to all runners on the day whatever the target!

Doyler is too soft and pretty to go under 2:50 … that is my prediction….

He does not have it in him to end up in a wheelchair at the end …

He will do alright though …

    LADS…..

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS – not open for business until 26th Oct….

So it being 22nd Oct – this is what we can in the IT world “expected behaviour” and also more importantly “user error”

Now off you go to your day jobs and pop back in 4 days….

Hugh Larkin is also running and injury permitting is hoping to join the exclusive sub 3 club …. well not so exclusive anymore when punters like GeaROID Healy snuck in ….

    Buenas

Being a big garmin fan – I have always used either the Garmin 405 (running specific but dated now) or the 910xt (more ultra sport but WAY cool)

If you are looking for the brightest and shinest – you should check out the 220 – but it will be expensive…

However the old 405 should be going cheap 2nd hand and I found this to be a great little watch with all of the functionality as per your “spec”

Thanks for all the well wishes guys – very much appreciated

It was the complete opposite of Roth for me personally as a lot of things went right on the day …

Great race and very easy logistically – I would highly recommend it to those who are thinking of an ironman late in the year (means minimising winter training too – bonus!)
