Hey Ronan,
They have so many taking part that they are having 2 courses on the 15th now.
See everyone next weekend!

ploughnaneSpectatorUnbelievable achievement for those doing the full. Broken after the half but chuffed with a PB considering the conditions.
I’m still new to the club this year but couldn’t believe all the Piranha support out there on the run course considering most were at HOTW. Was getting cheered on from all sides a few times.
Well done guys and gals!

Thanks again for organizing Ronan.
ploughnaneSpectatorHey Ronan,
Yeah should be good for October 15th.
Thanks,
PatrickploughnaneSpectatorHey Ronan,
I’d definitely be interested.
Thanks,
PatrickploughnaneSpectatorGot a similar deal in LIDL. So worth the money for adjusting gears and simply cleaning the machines. Anyone who reads this and doesn’t have one go get it!
ploughnaneSpectatorHey Ronan,
Yeah I’m running the 400 with the carbon mount. The cage on the 100,200 and cheaper 400 is plastic. The Carbon Mount I have is specifically fitted for the bottle. Very tight fit.
Happy shopping!
PatrickploughnaneSpectatorHey Ronan,
I’ve been using the XLAB Torpedo Carbon with the computer Mount included for about 2 years now. Great to have the computer mount so far out front on the Aero bars so it’s right in your line of sight all the time.
As for the bottle itself I switched to it from a Profile Design Aero system as I hate rattling on my bike and it fell off a few times on rough roads which isn’t ideal (yes that was with all the straps on). The XLAB Torpedo doesn’t budge on the bars. It can be a little difficult to refill on the go but have gotten used to it so am very happy with the setup. The XLAB straw is also nice and soft with a great bite piece on the end. I cut the roof of my mouth on the Profile design straw when I hit a bump while drinking which was really annoying!
Pros:
Very Secure on the bike.
Great to have my Garmin mounted so far out on my bars.
Straw is great.Cons:
Carbon version is expensive
Can be a little difficult to refill while movingLet me know if you want to see it. Should be along to the final TT this month so can bring it then.

ploughnaneSpectatorThanks John. It does only show the sizing chart for the full tri suits. Not sure if it translates to separate short and top sizes.
ploughnaneSpectatorHi Judy,
Any tips as regards sizing? I wasn’t able to make it along on Saturday to try anything on.
I wear a XXXL-Castelly Tri suit but XL-Orca 226 Kompress Tri shorts. Would just like to get a 2 piece suit.
Also as another example are the tee-shirts regular sizing so if I wear M normally I don’t have to go up a size or anything?
Thanks,
PatrickploughnaneSpectatorSigned up for the half last week. No plan as yet but looking at putting a 12/14 week plan together.

ploughnaneSpectatorHey John,
It’s actually the mounting clips on the Garmin device itself rather than the bar mount. It seems that the wings on the circular mount under the device can get worn down with repeated use and can snap off completely.
