I swim there once a week (the odd times two), generally no problems but in a couple of isolated instances I’ve experienced coughing from half way the session, and then a bit afterwards. No particular issues with nose blocking though (or not more that what I’m used to).
For me the temperature of the water is lovely 🙂
After the swim seminar, Kris gave us a couple of videos from “Total Immersion”.
I took one named “Outside the Box – Success in Open Water”, and I’ll bring it tomorrow (Sat 04-Mar) to pass on after the swim.If I remember, there was another one of the same title, two on “Breathing technique” and one on “Mastering breastroke” -that nobody wanted- :-).
If possible, next I’d like to get a handle on the “Breathing technique” one.
And for a change, the piranhas will be in (or on) the boat, not in the water!
Well, some maybe in the water too after a while…In preparation for this, I’ll swim tomorrow @Killiney beach around 11am (high tide 10:55), plan to do 30-60′ easy.
