    Sorry to hear that John. You brought considerable experience to the table in addition to a huge network that came with a lots of goodwill.

    It is always better to have local people in my opinion – especially for an event that is so dependent on local volunteers.

    Big corporations, profits first! doesn’t make the world a better place!

    I would like to add:

    Don’t come into the pool with deodorant or perfume on. Some products form an oil slick on the surface which coat everybody.
