Still have a set of winter bib tights (L) and winter jacket (XL) never worn and with the tags still on, 2016 purchase so same gear as this year if anyone missed out. Cost me 200 less the club refund of 55e last year, will let these go for 120 for both. Iโm 6โ2โ, 34 waist in jeans, 42 chest in a suit jacket and unfortunately theyโre both just a bit too tight for me but will easily fit anyone the next size down from me.
conor_mcParticipantI didn’t receive an email from you Aidan, conor.mcmenamin1@gmail<dot>com.
Thanks,
Conorconor_mcParticipantThanks guys for all your hard work on the gear order.
If it helps anyone out, I’m the same as that example in the sizing chart – 6’2″ and 34″ waist. I was happy with the fit of the Large bib tights, and went with the XL jacket, but it was so stretchy I could’ve gone with either L or XL. Just finished marathon training so figured I’m not gonna get smaller over the winter months, hence the XL!!
conor_mcParticipantMissed this thread before the marathon, but thanks for all the support out on the course on Sunday guys!
BarryMc, I remember someone giving me a massive “Go On Piranha!” somewhere around Rialto – actually took me by surprise but I did manage to shout back a thanks! ๐ There was a great shout from a cluster of piranhas on Northumberland Rd with about 1m to go as well I think, as well as many others dotted along the route. Thank you all!
Absolutely amazing support from the Dublin public in general as ever, but also from other Tri club members along the route, particularly plenty of Pulse guys & gals on their turf between the Phoenix Park and Kilmainham/Drimnagh.
conor_mcParticipantThanks for the support out there yesterday, the big shout-out from the Jonny W and the gang of piranhas at Ballsbridge gave a timely lift!
Also, thanks to Wolf for the company around mile 20/21, and for fetching me some Jaffa cakes…!! ๐
Has to be said, the support from the Dublin public is just phenomenal!
