Where are all the female cyclists????? We want to see you out cycling! The groups are designed to keep everybody together, at the agreed speed. So c’mon!!
Cycle Induction Course with Ian Cassidy – Week 3– Westwood Clontarf at 8.50am for 9.00am departure
Groups 1, 2 and 3 – also meet at Westwood at 8.50am for a 9.00am departure.
Groups 2 and 3 have a second pick-up at 9.30 at the Yellow HouseGroup 1 – Exciting trip to Dalkey / Killiney – John Lyons with Trish Eadie in support
Group 2 – Southside Spin – Bike Lead Ger Fennelly. 63km – 786M Climb – Rathfarnham, Powerscourt Waterfall, Enniskerry. Route HERE
Group 3 – Southside Spin – Bike lead Ivan Eustace. Southside spin with possible session at Corcaigh Park. Exact route to be confirmed.Please be mindful of cycling discipline.
** There is one cycle lead – and that person is responsible for the route.
** Tight two by two groups, with regular up-and-overs and with a single-file transition are the hallmarks of a disciplined cycle group. No “half wheeling” – that will be explained tomorrow morning!
** Each group has a target average speed – this should be maintained. Surges in speed (lead from the front) leads to a dragging-out of the group and members get left behind.
** Traffic lights must be obeyed – pedestrian and traffic!Have a great cycle on Sunday. Note that the first Group 4 cycle will be on March 26th – the first day of daylight saving!!

Great to see so many Piranha’s committing to warm weather training!! I’m really looking forward to the Easter Camp – it will be a springboard for my Barcelona IM preparation.
If you have not yet signed-up, there is still time to do so. It is a great club experience, fantastic training in glorious surroundings and hopefully some sunshine too!! Both dates and venues are spectacular.
And those of you who are undecided – its time to get off that fence!!

having ticked the Piranha’s in the athlete tracker, how do I show just the people I’ve ticked? I can’t reduce the start list.
