    Hi All,

    This is a time of year that people are vulnerable to their training slipping off track. Keep the focus on consistency, these are the hard yards that will pay dividends come race season.

    Get stuck into the week ahead and round it off with the short TT on Sunday. James and Declan have put a lot of effort into organising so please support it by racing or volunteering.

    Monday 15th Feb
    – 8.15pm New to Tri Coffee Meet Up – Westwood – John Lyons
    – 9.00pm Swim Session – Improvers ONLY – 2 Lanes – Westwood
    Coach – Kris

    Tuesday 16th Feb
    – 7.00am Swim Session – 2 x Lanes Adv, 1 x Lane Upper Inter – Westwood
    Coach – Tim
    Assistant Coach- Paul Mooney

    – 7.00pm Run Session at UCD with Maria McCambridge.

    Wednesday 17th Feb
    – 8.15pm Turbo Session with Ian Cassidy at Star of the Sea, Sandymount. Short run immediately after so bring runners & warm gear.

    Thursday 18th Feb
    – 7.00am Swim Session – All Levels – Westwood
    Coach – Kris
    Assistant Coach – Mark McInerney

    – 7.30pm Turbo Session with Ian Cassidy at Suttonians RFC Hall, Sutton.

    – 8.00pm Track Session with Maria McCambridge. Irishtown Stadium.

    Friday 19th Feb
    – 7.00am Swim with Anthony Mulholland – All Levels – Westwood
    – 7.00am Swim with Jack – UCD

    Saturday 20th Feb
    – 8.15am – 9.45am Swim Session – All Levels – Westwood (Option to leave after 1 hour)
    Coach – Kris
    Assistant Coach – Alan Magee

    – 10.00 am – Long Run – Meet in Westwood Reception. Member Led.

    Sunday 21st Feb
    – 08.30 am – 2nd TT in the Piranha V Belpark Series. 18.5km on the N11, worth going even for the coffee in Avoca after! Details available here; https://www.piranhatri.com/piranha-news/timetrial-tt-training-events/

    – 7.30 – 8.30pm – Swim Session Intermediates ONLY – 2 Lanes – Westwood

    Assist Coach – Louise

    Note, all weekly bike and run sessions are now available on the training plans page in the ‘TRAINING SCHEDULE; BUILD 1 – 8TH FEB – 6TH MARCH’ file. The week ahead is Build 1, Week 2. You must be logged onto Piranha website to access training plan.
