The volunteer of the month award for September is to formally recognise someone who has done untold work for the club on many occasions. In particular, being at the forefront of DCT and creating one of the unique selling points of the race through use of his skills and creative art. His greatest achievement in Piranha may actually be in capturing just how skinny Moody’s legs are in 3D form…
By now everyone will know who I’m talking about, whether that’s from having cycled a few kms with him before he dropped you, shared a lift with or shared a beer with him on a social night. Throughout the past season he has sacrificed a huge amount of his own time for the club and always brings great fun, humour and humility to any event he’s involved in.
