In keeping with tradition, the Committee would like to acknowledge some of the great work of our members on behalf of the club in the month of November! Our club is entirely volunteer-run and could not continue without our brilliant members helping with the day to day activities and our club events.
In November, we hosted our annual “Super Saturday” featuring our Memorial Run in St Anne’s Park where we showed up in big numbers to do the ParkRun while remembering and honouring some of our members who have passed away. We put on a great show on the running AND supporters field, followed by an award’s ceremony and gathering for tea and scones in the Red Stables afterwards.
This was all made possible by the three members who took on the task of organising this morning in St Annes’s so big thanks go out to Ciara Kilroy, Brianne Mulvihill and Maria Murphy, our memorial run committee! Kudos ladies! In addition, we had our fellow club member Ken Hughes get behind his camera and take some wonderful photos of our morning in St Annes. Ken captured the enthusiasm and joy of the day in his photos and shared those photos with the club and for that we are very grateful. Big thanks to Ken!!!
All the small things like this add up to make the club a great place to be and it could not happen without people like Ciara, Brianne, Maria and Ken. Our volunteers will each receive a One4All voucher as a token of our appreciation.
A big thank you to all our club members who help to make Piranha TC the “best club ever”!
Happy training!!
