The committee would like to acknowledge some of the fine work our members have been doing on behalf of the club, as such we are celebrating our volunteer of the month for November.
Hannah Gibney & Ciara Kilroy took on the task of organising our recent memorial run in St. Anne’s Park. This is our annual fundraiser and provides an opportunity to remember our clubmates who are no longer with us. The successful running of this event requires hard work and a lot of organising and Hannah and Ciara stepped up and did so with aplomb. We raised over €1,600 in the process for two very worthy charities too.
Hannah and Ciara will both receive a One4All voucher as a token of our appreciation. Our club is entirely volunteer dependant and could not continue without members helping with the day to day activities. Thank you again to all our club members who volunteered on the day too – the parkrun director was very appreciative of all the Piranha marshals.
