Hi all –
The committee would like to acknowledge some of the fine work our members have been doing on behalf of the club, as such we are (slightly belatedly) celebrating our volunteer of the month for June.
The triathlon season has well and truly roared into action and starting it all off was the first of our National Series club races in Carlow. The committee put a call out to help assemble the club gazebo at the Carlow race and the ever dependable Collie O’Neill answered the call and duly headed to Carlow at the crack of dawn to assist – there may have been a slight mix-up in timings which meant that the Piranha colours were flying before the actual race marshals had even arrived but this gave Collie plenty of time to prep for the race too, so no complaints from him!
All the small things like this ad up to make the club a great place to be and it could not happen without people like Collie so thanks to him. Collie will receive a One4All voucher as a token of our appreciation.
Our club is entirely volunteer dependant and could not continue without members helping with the day to day activities. Thank you again to all our club members who help out!
