Dear Piranhas –
Last weekend, the club hosted the hugely successful Piranha memorial run. Together, we managed to raise a record breaking €4,000 which is being split between the Irish cancer society and the Karen Fenton ovarian cancer fund. This could not have happened without the stellar work put in by the chief organiser of the Piranha Memorial Run – Shane Gavin. Shane put his hand up for this job very early on and was on top of every detail from the get-go. The run (and coffee/scones afterwards!) simply couldn’t have happened without this level of enthusiasm from Shane.
The Committee would like to offer Shane a voucher for CyleSuperStore as a small token of our thanks for making such a success of the memorial run.
