Dear Piranhas!
It’s been very difficult to choose the Volunteer of the Month for June, what with all the huge amount of work being put in by members: organising club gear, National Series strategy, open water swimming and transition training sessions, DCT, not to mention all the work that goes on behind the scenes on the club finances and membership. There’s a list of people who we need to (and will!) recognise.
The VOTM Award for June goes to someone who has spent many sleepless nights organising club cycling training since the end of last season. As Cycle Captain, Bernard Hanratty has done enormous work in setting up a really great cycling programme. We’ll be sending on a voucher for cyclesuperstore.ie as a small token of the club’s appreciation. Thanks Bernard, and all our cycling group leaders!
