Tri An Mhi Champ – Congrats Aileen

Huge congrats to Aileen Flynn, our very own National Middle Distance Triathlon Champ, who won one of the main middle distance triathlons on the TI calendar, Tri An Mhi, on Saturday in a new course record of 5:02:31. That was 20 minutes quicker than second place! An that was without a taper and only two weeks after winning TriAthy Double Olympic. Roll on Ironman Bolton in 2 5 weeks!

Well done to the other Piranahs’s too who participated…

Linda O’Neill who posted a good swim and bike time but didn’t do the run due to a dodgy Achilles.
Sean BARRY 18th overall and finishing just ahead of Aileen in 5:02:17
Ciaran LONG 53rd overall, finishing in 05:29:16
Roger RICE 60th overall, finishing in 05:31:38 just two weeks since doing TriAthy Double Olympic also
