Details for this Sunday’s spin below. All groups meeting at Westwood Clontarf at 8.20am for an 8.30am departure.
Group 1: Heading northwards, ~60km, with bike Lead Ivan Eustace
Group 2/3: In addition to WW, there is a second pick up point at 9.15am in Dun Laoghaire outside Teddy’s ice cream shop at the start of the IM swim. Route is the DL70.3 with bike leads John Clarke and Ava Whelan. Note, if road is bad we’ll find an alternative route around.
Note: Make sure to wear suncream and bring lots of water when the weather is nice.
As always, please remember good bike discipline while out on a club spin:
** Tight two by two groups, with regular up-and-overs and with a single-file transition are the hallmarks of a disciplined cycle group. No “half wheeling”!
** Call any obstacles that may be blocking part of the road including potholes, parked cars, pedestrians.
** Bring a puncture repair kit with you, including two spare tubes
