As we will be starting our next training phase next week, I would highly recommend getting out and doing a good run time trial over the next few days in order to have an idea of training paces for the next few months. Parkrun have been a great help to the club in recent years with facilitating the John Davis run and as a club we would like to encourage our members to get out and participate (in Piranha colours if possible).
A 5km race is a great way to gauge your fitness and your result can be used to work out target training paces for your workouts using http://www.mcmillanrunning.com/ or http://www.runbayou.com/jackd.htm which will greatly enhance your training throughout the year.
