Hi all with the race season upon us I thought it might be useful for people new to tri to have a checklist of what’s required on race day.
Prerace:
TI card/one day license
Water/energy drink (hydration pre race is important)
Glide/Vaseline
Elastic bands
Gels
Baby oil for wetsuit
Talc/baby powder
Core items for all three disciplines:
Tri suit
Smile (we do this for fun remember)
Swim:
Hat (one provided on race day but never any harm having another for cold days)
Goggles
Wetsuit
Cycle:
Bike
Helmet
Shoes
Glasses (to stop things from hitting you in the eyes)
Run:
Runners
Socks (optional)
Post races:
The ability to get home 🙂
