Online entry for the Pulse Port Beach Sprint Triathlon will open at 12 noon on Friday 10th July.
The entry link will be available at https://www.triathlonireland-newserver.com/local-races.html.
Information regarding the race is available at http://www.pulsetri.com/club-races/pulse-port-beach-triathlon/. Updates will be posted there and also on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pulsetrievents.
The Port Beach Sprint Triathlon has been selected as a Super Series, National Series, and National Championship race for 2015. It is also a qualification race for age group athletes wishing to qualify and race for Ireland at an ITU/ETU event 2016.
The race will take place on closed roads (subject to Garda permission) and they are expecting a high demand once again. The race course has a traditional beach swim start, with a flat and fast bike and run course. So this race is perfect for the newcomer to triathlon and also the more experienced triathlete who is looking for a personal best.
This will be one of the draft legal Cat 1 races so will be a good one to do and to watch.
Piranha will also be having an end of season dinner and night out after the race in Dublin so it would be good to have as many Piranha’s do that race and celebrate the end of season together.
I’ll post up a reminder next week when entries open.
