We are seeking the following volunteers for the open-water swim on Sunday, 17th May at 10.00am at the Bull Wall:
• 4 x Intermediate / Advanced Swimmers – one to join each group of swimmers for no more than 20 minutes
• 2 land-based ‘watchers’ for the swimmers
• 1 land-based counter for swimmers getting into / out of the waterWe will also have 2 kayaks in the water. Full details of the agenda are on a separate post on the website.
Please post-up if you are available to assist. The swim will not be able to proceed if we have insufficient volunteer – so time to step-up and support our new members.
Thanks in advance,
Bernard

John13th May 2015 at 1:53 pm #6952Phil SykesParticipantApologies, Bernard – I am in Germany this weekend: otherwise I would have been happy to help and will gladly do so on another occasion.
Please could all Piranhas reading this think about whether they can help, even if it means re-organising the Sunday spin. Try a shorter, harder session on the bike and then recover with a dip in the sea 🙂
Bernard and the other guys and gals on the Committee (excluding me, I just push paper about the desk!) put a lot of effort in behind the scenes organising these events (TTs, New to Tri, Transition Training etc.)and they compromise their own training a little in the process. So please don’t leave them hanging when the call for help goes out … see if you could spare a little bit of time for the Club.
These session are always fun and its a good chance to get to know some new faces.
Hope its a great day.
Cheers,
Phil
