One of the marathon group asked me yesterday when they should return to the Thursday track session, so I said I’d ask the Boss and post up what she says!
Prescription for now is to REST and only do easy jogging (20-30 minutes). If you like, you can do a few strides (where strides is not all-out sprinting! focus on form more than speed). Though feel free to come down to Maria’s session on a Tuesday in UCD or Thursday in Irishtown to do your easy running!
Give it a few more weeks and then you’ll be back to doing run sessions! Enjoy the rest 🙂
