    Marathon training – a “Down Week” with a Half Marathon at the end.

    Tues – warm up and cool down 1500m Sports Centre field plus strides before starting
    5 by 1500m loop with 2.30 recovery at 10km effort

    Thurs
    10mins warm up and cool down with strides before starting
    10mins tempo, 4 by 200m fast 200m easy, 10min tempo

    Sat Half Marathon – Phoenix Park 10am

    Sunday 80mins recovery run

    Running Training
    Tues 1500m loop warm up and cool down with drills and strides before starting
    4 by 1500m loop with 2.30min recovery at 10km effort

    Thurs
    10mins warm up and cool down with drills and strides before starting
    10 by 200m, 100m jog recovery
    plyometrics and sprints after
