Entry for the 2015 King of the Hill Sprint Distance Triathlon will open on Wednesday 4th March at 8am.
This race has been chosen as one of the races in Piranha’s National Series Strategy.
Some points to note on that race
– The race takes place on Saturday 25th July
– It is a Sprint distance race with a 750m sea swim, a 20km out and back cycle and 5km out and back hilly run
– It’s in Kinsale, Co. Cork (bring your passport!) which is about 280km / 3hr from Dublin
– Last year c. 350 people took part in the race. I am expecting that the race this year will sell out pretty quick
– This race comes highly recommended and is in a beautiful part of the country. There should be a good crowd of Piranha’s going down so we will be having a group dinner and having a right good party down there that night!
– Registration will be available through the Triathlon Ireland website here https://www.triathlonireland-newserver.com/local-races.htmlWe will be booking accommodation for Piranha’s down there and will post up more info on this shortly. If people can post up if they are interested in accommodation that would be appreciated so we can gauge numbers.
Thanks
Will

Also, now that accommodation has been sorted for Dunmore East / Hook or By Crook, I am going to devote all my attention to sorting accommodation for this race along with local hero, Paul Mooney.
At the moment, those that I think have signed up and possibly interested in accommodation
