It looks like this is the early season race of choice. I have contacted the RD and he tells me they are 80% full and the race is selling faster than last year so looks like it will fill by end of September but maybe sooner. If you are intending to enter do it sooner rather than later

Rachel Hayes has recommanded this place to stay http://en.seaclub.com/ She stayed there last year and its clean / basic but close to the race start and SMTB drop off.
The more we have staying in the one place the better the party !! You can book on line without a deposit and cancel upto one week before without charge. So again book sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

I would add that training and doing a 70.3 early in the season is a fantastic base of the Triathlon season and would highly recommand it.
We are also looking at getting a training group together for this race which would be all levels so if you are new to the club and have never done the distance this would be a good place to start. There are a few of us willing to coach the group or help with training plans
