We had the first swim session this morning at the National Aquatic Centre (NAC), thanks training committee for organising!
Not sure how populated it was (as I hadn’t made any Tuesday this year!), but enough people to get a beating…
It was a tough -but enjoyable afterwards- session. Looking forward for further punishment.
I’ve swam here once a week through winter and always felt slower than the pool at Westwood, by 5″ or more per 100m. A couple of guys today mentioned it felt slower for them too.
Still, pristine water, good depth, wide lanes, and a digital watch big enough that I can read!
