The 5th FAT TURKEY 10km will take place on Sunday 28th December with a race start of 11.30am. Race HQ is Suttonians RFC beside Sutton Dart Station. You can enter here http://tinyurl.com/FatTurkey2014 Entry fee is €23 and for this you get an AAI measured and approved 10km course, Chip timed race and free race T-Shirt. The race supports the IRFU charitable Trust who look after severely injured players. There are Prizes for 1,2,3 as well as AG 20-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50+ ( both male & female). We will also be giving out spot prizes at the finish line. Afterwards there will be changing facilities (and possibly) Showers. All competitors and supporters can avail of free hot Tea, coffee and christmas cake. We will also have a full bar service and I expect to have my first pint of Guinness at about 1.30pm if anyone would like to join me !!.
For any Rugby fans we hope to have the 6 nations trophy where you can get your photo taken with possibly a retired international !
