Hi all –
This is a quick note to express the committee’s sincere thanks and gratitude to every member who gave up their time to help make DCT 2022 the success that it was. The excitement and buzz from the race is still flowing!
We are extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful group of members who so willingly come together to pull out the stops and put on the best triathlon in the country. This club spirit is what makes Piranha unique, and it is fostered by you – our members, so thank you for being part of such a wonderful community of exceptional people.
The ripple effect of the positive race day experience that the 900 athletes, their friends, family and our sponsors had yesterday combined with the national media coverage should not be underestimated. Every member’s friendly and helpful interaction contributes to this experience and this is what makes our race so special.
Our race directors Paul and Adam did a wonderful job and should take a bow too – there is so much essential work that goes on behind the scenes in the months before the race and they were on top of it all.
Thanks again to everyone for your contributions to the race and to this club – it makes me very proud to be a Piranha!
