Yup will be heading out on bike also – thinking of heading to Phoenix Park and then back out to Roebuck road/ Fosters Av 😀
23rd October 2014 at 12:26 pm #2611piradminKeymasterWill also be out on the rothair, hoping to make chesterfield ave around 9:50am (I think thats mile 8?), then down to chapelizoid gate and then out to milltown/fosters ave. Lou23rd October 2014 at 4:52 pm #2618judymahonParticipantBest of luck to everyone – hopefully see you on the course at some point.
I will be at mile 13 and 24 with possible 18 in the middle depending on the timing of the two runners whose gels i will be carrying!
Either way see supporters and runners enroute:)
23rd October 2014 at 6:06 pm #2619johnwallnuttParticipantJust checked my diary and I am free on Monday so see you all on the start line !! 😀 Thats 21 and counting.
for supporters on Bikes a good spot is mile 3 on parkgate st but at this stage the course will be very busy. Then cut across to mile 13, just as we cross the Canal at Dolphins Barn you can then get to mile 18 on Teranure road / Orwell road and then skip down to mile 25 on merrion road. this gives you 30/40 minutes at each point so you should be able to catch anyone between 3hrs to 4.30 at each point

23rd October 2014 at 6:35 pm #2621ClareParticipantI’ll be on the course, somewhere near the start & then again at the corner at Vincent’s ( good combination of a great coffee shop & good spectator sport) then once Rory gets past I will beat into town as fast as my 37 week pregnant legs will carry me ( aka not very fast! )
Clare.23rd October 2014 at 8:36 pm #2622fergalddalyParticipantGreat read on the Irish Times online.

The video on the page is also worth a watch.

24th October 2014 at 8:23 am #2623gearoidParticipantPeople are being waaaaay too cagey in not posting their times!! Post up your times so we can see about getting a few pace groups together people!!
I’d be happy to just run around with a few people and enjoy it and soak up the atmosphere and maybe help pace anyone so I wouldn’t mind finding a group to run with but don’t know who’s planning / hoping to do what.
Also, if people want to print off their own customisable pace-bands – http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/racing/runners-world-pace-band-generator/3918.html” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
You’ll get them at the expo anyway, but if you want something specific like 2:58 or 3:47 or whatever else these are handy.
24th October 2014 at 8:50 am #2624lindaclarkeParticipantGood luck all!!! I’ll be out supporting at the hill in Milltown which is just before the 20 mile mark I think.
