Praying (as opposed to trained) for sub-4……which lb for lb would be great – like a BMI PB!

Your dignity will prevent this I’m sure π22nd October 2014 at 5:36 pm #2598AnthonyMKeymasterAhem, contrary to what he will have people believe; Moody’s pb is 2:48 and not 2:50 π
Just so there’s no confusion for anyone who was, say, looking to beat him!
22nd October 2014 at 6:35 pm #2599ClareParticipantSurely the time to beat is the current club record of 2.44 if I am not mistaken? But then again, I might be bias? π
22nd October 2014 at 7:26 pm #2600sue wParticipantThanks a million Alan and Sharon for the postings, really helpful but v scary!… , it seems like an awful long way!!! Why didnt i figure out that bit before?

Nah ….. lads know they have no hope of that … well aside from Rory himself ….
Good luck to all runners on the day whatever the target!
22nd October 2014 at 7:48 pm #2602RichieDParticipantAye to that and if we can shut Moody up for even a few days (hours?!) all the better!
Good Luck to all – the hard work should be rewarded.
P.s. Wonder does Doheny have TK red lemonade to go with those Tayto!
22nd October 2014 at 8:21 pm #2603gearoidParticipantJaysus, people aren’t giving anything away with their predictions / targets. I signed up on the last day and haven’t been doing much running the past month since showing Moody it ain’t no thang going sub-3 in a marathon so I’ve no idea how it’ll go for me on the day to be honest! I’ll probably just decide my pace on the morning and over the first few miles and go from there. That or go nuts and try to keep up with Hugh for as long as I can π
Is Bernard not running again this year?
Are some people planning to go for a few “refreshments” immediately after before heading home to freshen up to come back in?
Is anyone wearing a piranha singlet??
So many questions!

22nd October 2014 at 8:34 pm #2605gearoidParticipantNicely played, sir.
22nd October 2014 at 9:45 pm #2606AnthonyMKeymasterIn all seriousness though, best of luck to all piranhas doing it. Hopefully it’s a great day for ye. Are any other injured/sane Piranhas spectating on the day? I’ll be out on my bike on the course and was going to suggest we get a group together at about 12miles and again at 24 miles….
22nd October 2014 at 10:07 pm #2607stevenmoodyKeymasterYup Anto – am planning on spinning around course just in time to get to the 22 mile mark in my Irish priest outfit to hop in front of Doyler ….
So yeah keen to hook up on the day – already a couple in the posse
23rd October 2014 at 9:16 am #2608WilloParticipantI’ll eat my buoyancy shorts if Richard doesn’t go under 2:45.
I’ll be out supporting too.
23rd October 2014 at 10:27 am #2609Kev.bParticipantI signed up the last hour of registration, first marathon, be happy once it’s under 4 and injury free! Only had one long run due to the last minuteness of signing up π
