Congrats to 4k / 2k Killiney swimmers !

Big congrats to all Piranha’s who completed the 4k and 2k sea-swims in Killiney at the weekend.

In the 4k swim, Susanna Murphy was the winner … in under an hour and in a sprint finish ! Have a look at the ILDSA Facebook page for video clip of this exciting end to the race =>

Congrats also to Linda Clarke (8th place) who just beat Frank O’Connor (9th place) in another sprint finish, and to Sam Blonde close behind in 10th place.

Other Piranha’s who completed the 4k swim were Erin O’Connell, Linda O’Neill, Stephen Moody, Cormac Ryan, John Staunton, Des O’Brien and Ciaran Kelly.

And in the 2k swim, well done to Brendan O’Brien (5th place!) and Aileen Flynn and Louise O’Grady.

Hope I haven’t missed anyone, please post up for anyone else !

I also gave the 4km a bash. I thought it was a well organised event – very enjoyable. Weather was incredible. I’ll defiantly look out for it again next year.
