Congrats on many of new-to-triathlon members who did their first real triathlon yesterday!
Massive congratulations to Ciara Wilson & Sinead Lambe who completed in the Try-A-Tri distance event. In a field of almost 100 women, Ciara came 6th overall and Sinead Lambe after recording the joint 2nd fastest swim time, came 1st overall!
Looking forward to the next big event – the club championship in Dunmore East on June 21st, the race called “Hook or By Crook”. Don’t forget before then you’ve got Open Water swim training this Friday 6th June and then Aquathlons starting next week. Also while I’m here, Congrats to Aileen Flynn who came 1st in the Double-Olympic yesterday and still managed to come out for a drink last night 🙂
